At the end of U-19 National Chess Championship 2019 held at Gurgaon, Haryana 3 players from West Bengal finished on the podium.
Mitrabha Guha tied for the first place with 9 points out of 11 and to finish second, Koustav Chatterjee missed the Championship Title by losing the last round game to Aradhya Garg and had to settle for the 2nd Runner Up.
Among the other notable achiever is Srijit Paul who scored 8.5 points but had to be content with 5th position.
In the Girls section Arpita Mukherjee finished runner up with 8 points.
