Having 3 IM-norms and a GM-norm in his bag, Mitrabha needed only 10 ELO Rating points in 2nd Goa GM International 2019 since he had gained 49 ELO Rating points at 12th Mumbai Mayor’s Cup 2019.
In the third round, he defeated GM Ziaur Rahman and crossed 2400 in the live rating list.
He continued his momentum and drew with India’s 61st GM P Iniyan in round 4.
We hope Mitrabha secures his 2nd and 3rd GM-norm soon to become a Grandmaster.
